Dr. Helmbold, born in Argentina and descended from both parents who are distinguished dentists with impeccable careers, graduated from the University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2003. In 2013, she obtained her dentist license in the United States after completing a two-year program and passing the California Dental Board exam.
In 2004, Dr. Helmbod embarked on a crucial chapter in her career by enrolling in a postgraduate program in Prosthodontics in Oral Rehabilitation and Temporomandibular Dysfunction under the guidance of renowned Dr. Aníbal Alonso. Upon completing the postgraduate program, Dr. Alonso provided her with the opportunity to work in his private practice and to participate as an assistant in the postgraduate course. Over the following eight years, Dr. Alonso played the role of mentor to Dr. Helmbold, and together with him and his team, they delivered lectures in Argentina and other countries such as Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
With a comprehensive and functional approach to addressing dental treatments for the masticatory system, she continued to expand her professional education in various specialized areas of dentistry, such as aesthetics, bone grafts, implants, invisible orthodontics, digital dentistry, digital smile design (DSD), CAD-CAM systems, and endodontics.
Currently, Dr. Helmbod is immersed in a two-year postgraduate program in orthodontics, aiming to further deepen her knowledge and close gaps in her understanding of the complete treatment of the masticatory system.
The love and dedication to this profession, inherited from her parents, are values that inspire her, as well as her motivation to help people, which fills her with pride in being a dentist. Dr. Helmbold is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Association.
